Secret terrace awning at The Chiltern Firehouse

Chiltern Firehouse commission bespoke restaurant awning

10 Jun 2014

The Chiltern Firehouse, a former fire station in Marylebone, which is fast becoming one of London’s most popular bar restaurants. Our brief for this project was a rather unusual one. We were commissioned directly by the client to create a seamless outdoor restaurant awning for a secret sub-terranean terrace which is accessed via a concealed entrance inside. The unusual shape of the terrace tested our powers of invention, but as always, we came up with a solution that was a hybrid of part Victorian awning combined with a Panel Canopy.

The resulting restaurant awning provides uninterrupted cover for this unique space and is sound testimony to our reputation for innovation. Chiltern Firehouse chose Morco Blinds because of our ability to deliver top quality awning solutions for London’s finest restaurants.
