Classic awning by Morco at Island Poke

Classic awnings at Island Poke, Kingly St

14 Nov 2016
We have installed the Morco Classic  heavy-duty Folding-Arm awning on the Island Poké restaurant in Soho. The Morco Classic  is an immensely strong heavy-duty system that comes with a protective hood that sits above the awning and protects it from the elements. The Classic is one of our most popular awnings; a commercial product at a price which will not break your budget.

Chris Miller, previously of Soho House Group, launched The White Rabbit fund; a restaurant investment fund hunting for industry professionals. His co-founder James Gould-Porter has been hooked on Poké since the age of 9. And after testing the waters with its street food cousin the Hawaiian Fish Co; Island Poké was born.

Island Poké was born on the Hawaiian coast and homed in the London Street Food market before landing at 8 Kingly Street. Their focus is to bring you the freshest ingredients served in a relaxed authentic style to London.

Soho is a small, multicultural area of central London; a home to industry, commerce, culture and entertainment, as well as a residential area for a diverse population of Londoners . It has numerous clubs, public houses, bars' restaurants and late-night coffee shops that give the streets an "open-all-night" feel at the weekends. Record shops cluster in the area around Berwick Street.
