Open seven days a week and comprised of a main restaurant, terrace overlooking the bustling piazza and two private dining rooms, The Ivy Market Grill provides the perfect setting for any occasion. 

Henrietta Street was first planned in 1631 with the buildings  completed by 1634. Although the street plan is unchanged from the original, most of the houses are of nineteenth century construction. The street was named after the consort of Charles I. In 1772 the poet Sheridan fought one of his two duels with Captain Thomas Mathews at the Castle Tavern, located then on the north corner with Bedford Street, after Matthews insulted Sheridan over his intended. It ended bloodless but, at the re-match later near Bath, it ended very differently!
