It isn't very often a UK awnings company can claim to be part of the war against world domination by an angry ancient, supposedly mythical, god  but we've done our little bit even if it meant the lovely awnings we supplied ultimately got blown to bits!

In the real world, however, the fact is that we were asked to supply our Marlesbury awnings as historic scene props to the makers of the 2017 blockbuster film, Wonder Woman, to add authenticity to various 1918 Paris street scenes involving bombs, rockets, manic monsters and a rather heroic young woman.

At this point it should be said that, whilst our traditional style Marlesbury awnings are renowned for their quality and robustness in dealing with most the inclement weather experienced in the UK, they did fail this particular stress test.  Regrettably, Morco awnings can no longer be recommended as a suitable defence against a thermo nuclear rocket attack.

Nevertheless if you do not intend subjecting your awning to such abuse we can confidently recommend the Morco traditional Marlesbury awning for installation on both residential & commercial premises including shops and pubs, especially where there are historically sensitive buildings involved.
