New Morco Classic Awning for Black Lab Coffee

We have recently installed this new Morco Classic awning at the newly renovated Black Lab Coffee House on Clapham Common Southside. The awning fabric is in a light blue shade designed to show off the Black Lab Labrador logo favoured by this popular rendezvous. The Classic awning has recently been reassessed by CE standards and now reaches a commercial grade 2 rating making it even more suitable as a cost effective commercial awning choice.

The Black Lab Coffee House serves breakfast, lunch, coffee and drinks. Ideal for groups, parties or just walk-in for coffee and a snack. There is a takeaway option available or you can enjoy table service, inside or out, under the new awning. Children are most welcome.

Clapham Common is the large triangular urban park in Clapham, South London. Originally common land for the parishes of Battersea and Clapham, it was converted to parkland under the terms of the Metropolitan Commons Act 1878. There are three ponds and a Victorian bandstand. The common is surrounded by large Georgian and Victorian mansions, and nearby Clapham Old Town.

There was a large World War 2 air raid shelter built on the south side of the common in 1942 and this is preserved, complete with signage; it kept 8,000 Londoners safe from German bombs during the Blitz. There are plans to open this historic monument in the near future for public tours.
