Parasols Duke of Sussex

Parasol enhancement at The Duke of Sussex

11 Aug 2017

We have already installed new traditional awnings and Classic parasols at the popular Duke of Sussex public house in Baylis Road, Lambeth. Now, as a final touch, we have installed custom made timber platform enhancements to both conceal the concrete bases and to provide additional seating for patrons. The timbers we have crafted in this manner are all from harvested sources and our designers have cleverly included neat slots to enable easy handling of the bases in the event the umbrella need to be moved. Our Classic parasols are suitable for all types of commercial and residential use and can be permanently installed in ground sockets or portable on secure concrete bases.

The Duke of Sussex Public House also has a private room for hire seven days a week. The Chichester and the snug are flexible so suitable for any event – business or pleasure. If you’re throwing a party, these are ideal whether the meal is seated or standing, for a crowd or just a few. The Duke of Sussex historically, this served beer from the now defunct Truman, Hanbury, Buxton & Co Ltd brewery in London. The road is named after Lilian Baylis (1874–1937), a theatrical producer and manager, who managed the Old Vic Theatre.
