Recovered Greenwich awning at Victoria's Secret

10 Feb 2017

New Bond Street in London is the place to shop for exclusive and, invariably, expensive fashion  items; whether they be clothes or Jewellery. We have been pleased to install many awnings in this fashionable part of London and have recently refurbished the awnings at Victoria's Secret. We originally installed this Greenwich awning and have now replaced the cover with one in midnight black with tasteful branding text  picked out in hand applied silver.

A feature of the Greenwich awning is the wrap around front profile and silver or bronze finials which, in this case, are a complimentary addition to the silver text.

Victoria's Secret is an American designer, manufacturer and marketer of women's premium lingerie, women swear and beauty products. Originally founded by Roy Raymond who opened the first Victoria's Secret store on June 12, 1977 at the Stanford Shopping Centre, Palo Alto California after feeling embarrassed trying to purchase lingerie for his wife in a public department store. To open the store, he took a $40,000 bank loan and borrowed $40,000 from his parents to found Victoria's Secret: a store in which men could feel comfortable buying lingerie. Raymond picked the name Victoria to associate with the refinement of the Victorian era. The Secret was what was hidden underneath the clothes. Today, Victoria's Secret is a Global Brand with sales measured in the billions.
