Being commissioned to renovate Gieves & Hawkes shop awning was a prestiguous project. Gieves & Hawkes are synonymous with London style, dressing the wealthiest and most powerful from Royal Dukes to the political, aristocratic and military establishment. As the most prestigious military and court tailors in London, it was in fact Hawkes purchase of No.1 Saville Row in 1913 that established Savile Row as an epicentre for fine tailoring.
With their exacting standards, Gieves & Hawkes identified us as the best qualified company to refurbish their traditional fitted-arm shop awning. Both the existing hardware and fabric needed complete renovation, Morco worked closely with the Gieves & Hawkes design team to produce perfectly tailored traditional awnings, brought up to date with the highest performimg materials and finishes. The finished product is highly regarded by the client as it matches their strong beliefs in traditional style and quality.
