Special side screens for the Hampshire Hotel

In June 2017 Morco installed a series of new folding awnings and a special RIB® approach canopy to the Radisson Blu Hampshire Hotel in Leicester square. The client asked us how they might improve the comfort of customers seated in the outside dining area especially when there were cool draughts sweeping across the square. Our technicians gave this some thought and came up with the rigid, though demountable, side screen arrangement you can see alongside. Mounted on to strong unitary powder coated aluminium poles the side screens present a neat, taught, appearance. The clear side panels we added were to maintain the airy feel of the terrace without compromising customer comfort.

Afternoon tea, that famous English tradition since the early 19th century, is a favourite with many visitors to the Hampshire Hotel and what could be more pleasant than indulging in this past time with friends whilst people watch in comfort on Leicester Square?  Enjoy a delicious selection of open sandwiches, a choice of pastries and fresh scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve. All types of teas can be selected from simple English breakfast to delicate Newby teas.

While visiting Leicester square spend a little time watching the wide variety of street performers who demonstrate their  talents from juggling and street dancing to magic shows - don't be backward about joining in they all love audience participation.
