SQ2 awnings at St James Market

The Morco exclusive SQ2 recessed facia shop awning has been specified for installations at retail units and restaurants in St James market in the heart of London's West End. Designed specifically to be concealed inside a shopfront this is a unique, recessed, commercial strength awning. In its standard form, when the awning is retracted, it presents a flat fascia panel which is all that is visible on the outside. However, in this case, the client wanted a design of profile unique to them and therefore we have installed the awnings with a smaller, more compact, front profile. At Morco we are always happy to revise the cosmetic appearance of our awnings to suit precisely the customer's specification. The awnings to these units at Veneta Restaurant and Anzu Restaurant have been supplemented by the installation of our "Wallstreet" cafe barriers to provide identity to the restaurants, definition to the demesne of the restaurants and wind protection for diners.

The Crown Estate and Oxford Properties have re-established historic St James’s Market with 210,000 sq ft of offices alongside luxury lifestyle retail on iconic Regent Street St James’s and seven new restaurants centred around a reinvigorated public square. The menu at Veneta is inspired by classic Venetian dishes and cooking techniques which showcase the amazing produce from the region. Anzu is a Japanese dining room and bar serving from noon, they offer an a la carte brasserie-style menu for lunch and dinner and a comprehensive bar menu throughout the afternoon.
