Pagnells Victorian awning

Victorian awnings for Pagnells of Mount Street

11 Dec 2017

This beautiful  Victorian awning on Pragnell Jewellers of Mount Street, Mayfair has been decorated, with perfect detailing, in 22 carat gold leaf by our very own traditional sign writer, who has been doing this sort of work for more years than he wishes to remember! As always the Morco Victorian awning has been manufactured by us in our joinery shop using  harvested hardwood with all paintwork finishes coated in environmentally safe, water based, paints. The  traditional iron work is powder coated to give a robust, long lasting finish in traditional black.  The sheer size of this particular Victorian awning was a challenge but one which we rose to and only the use of the very best materials and careful assembly resulted in this stunning and secure installation.

From an engagement ring fit for the Queen to, a world record breaking limited edition Patek Philippe watch, family-owned and run jeweller George Pragnell prides itself in a carefully curated selection of world-class offerings now at its newly opened  showroom in London's Mount Street Mayfair. Pragnells first opened in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1954, and today is internationally recognised as the supplier of the very highest quality and design in elegant jewellery.

Mount Street in Mayfair runs from Park Lane in the west to Davies Street in the east. It is crossed by Park Street in the east and South Audley Street midway. On the south side it is joined by Rex Place and Balfour Place. The Brazilian Embassy is located at number 54 and the Connaught and Grosvenor Hotels are at either end. Between these points you will see numerous examples of Victorian awnings installed by us including: Creeds, Scotts, Marc Jacobs,The George Club and the ever populat Mount Street Deli.
