Wedge canopy hotel awning for Durham Marriott bar terrace

The prestigious Durham Marriott Hotel Royal County, which has parts that date back to the 17th century, required new display hotel awnings for their outdoor eating and drinking area. The architecture throughout the building is a tasteful marriage of contemporary and traditional.

To reach the final solution, Morco worked closely with both the hotel and Pommerey Champagne who were sponsoring the area. The final solution was a series of custom wedge canopies that achieved strong but subtle brand placement that gives the bar terrace are an air of under-stated sophistication.
