Bespoke Folding Arm Awning Recovers for Isola’s Terrace

We recently completed a bespoke project for Isola by San Carlo, the Italian brasserie in St Christopher’s Place, London. The restaurant required four new folding arm awning recovers to refresh its frontage, including one exceptionally wide awning measuring almost 14 metres.

The new covers were handmade in our London workshop using our high-quality yellow awning fabric, finished with RAGS® branding to incorporate Isola’s logo. For the valances, we used our exclusive Edition I Fabric, which allows custom designs to be woven directly into the material. This made it possible to create a bespoke white-and-yellow stripe pattern, with samples provided to ensure the stripe’s yellow perfectly matched the main cover fabric.

Each scalloped valance was finished with Isola’s wordmark and the phrase Ristorante Italiano, positioned with care to complement the striped design. The result is a set of restaurant awnings that showcase precision craftsmanship, durability and bespoke style – a refined addition to one of London’s most stylish dining destinations.
